Goose Studio is moving to Freemius

Changes to premium plugins

We will be moving all our premium plugins to Freemius. This means that they will handle all payments, updates, licenses and subscriptions for Goose Studio premium plugins. Product life time licenses will also be moved. The transition will be handled in upcoming plugin updates and when you renew your subscription after the switch it will be handled by Freemius. User name, email, customer/business information will be transferred. For a complete list of the information that will be transferred visit the Goose Studio to Freemius information page.

Changes to free plugins

We will be moving our free plugins to WordPress.org and discontinue the license handling. As plugins are moved you will get a new update for the plugin that will enable the plugin to be updated via the WordPress.org plugin repository. If plugins are not accepted in plugin repository they will continue to be handled via our site for the time being.

Users of our free plugins will not have their information moved to Freemius unless they have also purchased one of our premium plugins.

When will the changes occur?

Our goal is to have the transfers affecting customers, premium and free plugins completed by the end of October.

What happens to existing user data?

Payment information will be kept to comply with tax regulation. We will be removing user information belonging to users of our free plugins as we transfer the plugins to WordPress.org. User accounts belonging to current customers will remain in order to handle support requests via the Goose Studio website for a few months. We will delete remaining users at the latest in January 2022.
